Demerits of green revolution:
1.land degradation tapes place due to the excess use of fertilizers and pesticides
2.the crops gets effected due to the chemicals
3.the consumer taking in the crop is also effected
4.animals and birds with have this crop excessly will have a fatal cause
5.high amounts of irrigation is required
