Green revolution consists of excellent tequineques  like irrigation, pesticides ,etc.. which helps to enrich the crop varieties
but at the same time it has some harmful effects :-
when there is excessive use of pesticides...they are discharged into the rivers, ponds etc..and makes the water poisonous this creates disturbance and excessive harm to water life ....the excessive use of these kinds of fertilizers pesticides may degrade the soil fertility...and at the same time we use HYV seeds these seeds use alot of water this may cause depletion in water table ..therefore it is said green revolution has not only helped in increasing food production but has also created many problems..!!

HOPE THIS ANSWER HELPS.. :-)
