Griffin was no doubt a brilliant scientist. But in some cases he misused his power of invisibility. Two such cases were:
1) His landlords who tried to eject him, Griffin went to their house and burnt the house down.
2) He broke into a departmental store and theatrical store to steal clothes and items of disguise to cover his face. He attacked the shopkeeper and robbed him of his money.
Hope it helps you!
