Answer:

Griffins was a brilliant scientist. He found a way to make living things invisible. This was a really big achievement in the field of science. But all of his intelligence was of no gain to the society. He was never known to be kind to anyone in the society. He was a lawless person which is evident in the story. He burned his landlord's house to avenge the landlord. Then he robbed a store and hit the workers there with no mercy. He stole money from a priest's house. He was even rude to the owner of the inn where he was staying.

Even though he was a very brilliant scientist but his brilliance was shadowed by his wrong deeds.

Hope it helps you!!!
