Griffin's great divovery did not make him a popular and respectable person because Griffin doesn't used his discovery in right way .He used his discovery for humiliating people which is totally against from the description of a great scientist

No doubt Griffin was a brilliant and competent scientists. But he misused his great discovery for personal gains commiting theft and beating innocent people. He could have earned fame and respect if he had utilised his great discovery for welfare of humanity instead his activities made him a lawless and anarchist. He proved that how great discovery of science can be misused. How am eccentric scientists can become a disaster for himself and society.
