So the answer is both acid soluble and insoluble

Explanation:

If we look at sulphate and phosphate they were included in acid soluble fraction even though they are inorganic whereas calcium and magnesium are included in acid insoluble

Answer:

The presence of the inorganic compounds like phosphate, sulphate etc.

which are categorized in acid soluble pool.

Explanation:

To understand this experiment first we need to understand the tissue experiment.

We have two types of tissue experiment:-

  • Living tissue experiment or Trichloroacetic acid: Generally used for organic compounds.
  • Ash analyzing or Burnt tissue experiment: used for inorganic compounds.

Living tissue experiment

In this experiment, we take a living tissue. Then we grind this tissue with the help of pestle and mortar. Then we dissolve the grinded tissue into trichloroacetic acid and stained through cheesecloth.

Then we observe two pools one is acid soluble pool and other one is acid insoluble pool.

  1. Acid soluble pool:- We observe micro molecules in this pool. It is also called filtrate. It shows the presence of inorganic compounds like sulphate, phosphate etc.
  2. Acid insoluble pool:-  We observe macro molecules in this pool. It is also called retentate.

Generally living tissue experiment is performed for organic compounds but it also shows the presence of inorganic compounds such as sulphate, phosphate etc.
