Ground water may be polluted by following types :

1.Acid rain :Through gaps in soil they seep into ground water and pollute it.

2.Industrial waste: The industries are the main cause for every means of pollution. They cause water table pollution by releasing industrial waste into rivers which in turn damage the seas.

Remedies: Industrial effluents must be treated before discharged into water
