A pool resource is a resource which gives benefit to a group of people but little problematic for individual use due to the extra quantity exploitation of over use.

Ground water is a source of water which is beneficial for a group of people but for individual use it causes the wastage of water.

Eg. If we put a handpump , tubewell , well or jetpump etc. It gives a lot of water which causes the wastage of water.

If we use a handpump alone we require water according to use , but we start over use & flow the fresh waters in drainages .

The best way to use ground water is in a group so we have to utilize it as a public resource.

Hence, ground water should be considered a common pool resource .
