1) The most use of ground water is in irrigation.
2)In industry to keep cool the machine and other purpose.
3)There are many places where river water is not available in India, here ground water is being used. In village ground is sucked and used as drinking water, and it is one of the main important use of groundwater ,

Of all these sources, ground water constitutes the largest share.

Wells, including dug wells, shallow tube-wells and deep tube wells provide about 61.6% of water for irrigation, followed by canals with 24.5%.
