Pollution :-
Pollution is defined as an unwanted change in the environment. It can be of several types. These are as follows.

The pollution of all forms, i.e. air, land, water, and noise, has increased to an extent that nature has started giving us warning in different ways. Global warming, melting ice caps, rising sea levels, acid rains, species of birds and animals facing the threat of extinction ... the list is long. We, human beings have always been so high-headed due to our success and triumph over nature that we never liked to look back and take a stock of our deeds until it was quite late.

It is said, 'Better later than never' and if we take immediate measures to make up for our past mistakes, we can have some hope. The best remedy would be that we human beings should consider the other species as part and parcel for our existence and give them their due rights. Deforestation and industrialization have made the air unfit for survival; the only way to tackle this problem is to plant more and more trees. If we ensure our forest reserves, many of our problems will be resolved. Waste management will be another concrete step towards this. Above all, we need to learn in sync with nature and not as a conqueror of nature.
