"Depending on the location in the plant, there are three kinds of Meristematic Tissues found in the plants, which facilitate its growth.

Meristems tissues enable growth in plants length wise and width wise.

The tissue which causes growth in the girth of the plant is –Lateral Meristem. Lateral Meristems are further divided into vascular cambium and cork cambium.
