Growth and development of Fierce Revolution Movement:

The roots of evolution of revolutionary movements in India can be traced from the revolt of 1857. It is the first well known successful mass mobilisation in India. Originating from a group of Indian soldiers in the British garrison town of Meerut, this movement was first of its kind and the tremors of this uprising was felt all the way to the roots of the British empire in the country.

By the same time, there was active mobilisation for freedom under the leadership of the Congress and Gandhi. There were back to back movements launched staging the demand for freedom from the British colonisation. Amidst this time the revolution for gender equality was started by the women for equal education and voting rights, widow remarriage, abolition of child marriage, sati system and other barbaric rules against women.

The revolutionary history of the country comes a long and diverse way from freedom struggle, industrial revolution to social reforms and it is ever evolving.
