Growth is quantitative while development is qualitative. with examples explain this statement​

Growth is process in physical change in body either in the length, weight

Growth of child in of 5 is different from a child of age of 10 years in terms of his/her height or weight.

so it's quantitative that is it can be measured.

while Development is psychological change which can't be quantifiable. it's cognative change

eg a person of age 25 and 50 there merely any difference in height or weight but there's definite difference in their pschyic behavior

so development is qaulitative.
