hiii,

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a value-added tax levied on most goods and services sold for domestic consumption. The GST is paid by consumers, but it is remitted to the government by the businesses selling the goods and services. In effect, GST provides revenue for the government

Hey,
Ur answer is here,
GST, known as goods and service tax is an indirect tax imposed by Indian government. The GST Act was passed in the Lok Sabha on 29th March, 2017, and came into effect from 1st July, 2017 . I can't say whether it is right or wrong but I can say that it will apparently help in the growth of Indian economy. Many people oppose gst and many support it. I can't say that which is wrong in both of them but I can say that it all depends on thinking of people.

Hope it helps you ☺️
