Answer:

Given,

Total cash with Lakshmi = Rs 4,00,000

200x + 150x + 50x = 4,00,000

400x = 4,00,000

X = 400

x = 1,000

Number of Rs 100 notes = 2x = 2 x 1000 = 2000

Number of Rs 50 notes = 3x = 3 x 1000 = 3000

Number of Rs 10 notes = 5x = 5 x 1000 = 5000

ratio of rs100 , rs50 , rs10 notes = 2:3:5

let the no.of rs100 notes =2x

let the no. rs50 notes = 3x

let the no. of rs10 notes =5x

rs100 note 2x 100 ×2x = 200x

rs50 notes 3x 50× 3x = 150x

rs10 notes 5x 5x × 10 = 50x

given,

lakshmi has 400000

200x + 150x + 50x = 400000

400x = 400000

x = 400000÷400

x = 1000

number of 100 notes =2x =2 x 1000 = 2000

number of 50 notes = 3x = 3×1000 = 3000

number of 10 notes = 5x = 5 x 1000 = 5000
