We know,

Here,
θ=15∘,
R=1.5km
=1500m
∴1500=u2gsin30∘ or , u2g=3000m
Now for same velocity and θ=45°, range of the projectile would be,
R′=u2sin90∘g
=u2g
=3000m
=3km
