Answers
Answer:
→Autotrophs store chemical energy in carbohydrate food molecules they build themselves. Most autotrophs make their "food" through photosynthesis using the energy of the sun.
→Heterotrophs cannot make their own food, so they must eat or absorb it.
Answer:
The difference between Autotrophs and Heterotrophs:
Autotrophs - Autotrophs make their own food through the process of photosynthesis. They contain chlorophyll which helps them to prepare food. They are called producers and store energy. Eg:- Green plants, Algae
Heterotrophs - Heterotrophs like animals cannot make their own food and depend on autotrophs(most plants) for food. They don't contain chlorophyll and hence, cannot make their own food. They are called consumers and they don't store energy. Eg:- Humans, cows, etc.
