Guava have a Cymose inflorescence Because the main axis gives a flower and that flower are borne in a basipetal order means the development or maturation from the apex downward towards the base.

Inflorescence

The arrangement of flowers on the floral axis is termed as inflorescence. It is divided as a main axis (peduncle) and by the timing of its flowering (determinate and indeterminate). There are two major types of inflorescence - Racemose and cymose .

Racemose :- Arranged in acroptel order and Continue to grow and doesn't terminate in a flower. Like mustard , radish , amarnath and lupin etc.

Cymose :- arranged in basipetal order and is limited in growth and terminate a flower. Like begonia, Dianthus , solanum and teak

Note :- to identity inflorescence Take any plant and observe the main axis and if the main axis terminate flowers at tip and arranged in basipetal order then it shows cymose inflorescence and if it doesn't terminate flower and arranged inacropetal order then it shows Racemose inflorescence.
