2. Inadequate resources for expanding their businesses therefore the profit margin may also be small making it hard to acquire more stock or products for their businesses.
3. Lack of advanced technology thus reducing output which can be increased by improved technology, which can also help in reducing production costs.
4. Insecurity many small scale businessmen tend to locate their businesses where security is poor thus making them suffer loses in terms of loses or destruction of property.
5. Poor road networks may affect them because it makes it hard for transportation of their products ton a wider market.
6. Higher taxation of goods and the income they generate may also pose as a challenge to them because it tends to reduce the profit margin.
