Guests are a nuisance
Not all guests are welcome; a majority of them are nuisance. Only a few of them are our favorites. When they visit us, they create chaos at our home and in their wake leave mess to be cleaned by us.
The guest that I don’t like at all is one of my distant cousins. Recently, he visited my newly renovated house. He was amazed to see the beautiful renovations and the newly painted rooms. He liked the décor of each room and praised me for my sense of aestheticism.
His kids are a bunch of mischievous imps; they wreaked havoc in my home. They disfigured the newly painted walls, marred the newly tiled floors. Even they did not spare the furniture. Though exasperated, I could not stop them from damaging my best things.
My mother asked me to keep cool until the guests went. However, it was very difficult for me to do so as I could not see my beautiful world being looted and destroyed by those imps.
Finally, the day came when the guests said good bye with an assurance that they would soon visit us next year. I heaved a sigh of relief the moment they sat in a taxi for the station.
