Gulliver's travels is a tale of adventure on the surface level but on a closer examination , it is found to be satire (sarcasm) on mankind in general and on english politicians in particular. A satire can be defined as a humorous and witty exposure of reality of the individuals. In this novel "Jonathan Swift" exposes man's greed, pride, the evils of various professions. It mainly reflects on the british society of 18th century. The characters of this novel is related to those real political leaders or officers.
