nitrate =75%
sulphur =10%
then charcoal will be =15% because total is 100%
now ratio of nitrate : sulphur : charcoal = 75 : 10 : 15
= 15 : 2 : 3
so, total part is 15+2+3=20 but charcoal part is 3
in 8 kg , amount of charcoal = (3/20)×8 = 6/5
= 1.2kg
