Purchase price of goods ( Rs 7560 ) + packing/forwarding charges , say , amount Rs X = Total cost of the goods prior to sale of the goods, but addition of 10 % profit based on total cost given is Rs 9900 ,

Now we can formate the equation of above expression to get the hidden value of X , of packing /forwarding from the following expression,( 7560 + X ) 110/100 = 9900 , simplifying we get X = rS 1440 , so the total cost is Rs 7560 + Rs 1440 = Rs 9000, and selling price with 10 % profit on total cost of Rs 9000 becomes , 9000 + 10/100 x 9000 = Rs 9900
