Answer:

Amount of decrease= Rs. 13500-6000= Rs.7500.

Therefore, rate of depreciation ( or in other words, decrease %)= Decrease/ Original value × 100

= 7500/13500×100

=55.56%( approx.).

Answer: Rate of depreciation = 55.55%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :  Cost of mobile = 13,500

Cost of mobile after 2 years = 6,000

∴ Amount of decrease= 13500 - 6000 = Rs. 7500

Therefore, rate of depreciation = \frac{Decrease}{Original Value} * 100

                                                    = \frac{7500}{13500} * 100

                                                    = 55.55%
