Answer: 12 kg; 25 kg

Step-by-step explanation: Since, Gunpowder contains 75% of Nitrate

=> Each kg of Gunpowder will contain 750 grams of Nitrate.

=> Therefore 1 kg of Nitrate will be contained in (1000/750) = 1.33 kg of Gunpowder.

Thus, 9 kg of Nitrate will be contained in 9 * 1.33 = 12 kg of Gunpowder.

=> Also, each kg of Gunpowder will contain 100 grams of Sulphur.

=> Therefore 1 kg of Sulphur will be contained in (1000/100) = 10 kg of Gunpowder.

Thus, 2.5 kg of Sulphur will be contained in 2.5 * 10 = 25 kg of Gunpowder.
