Let CP = x

So SP is 80 % of CP

80/100 x = 1536

x = 15360 / 8

x = 1920

CP = 1920

New SP = 2040

Profit = 2040 - 1920 = 120

Profit % = 120/1920 * 100 = 1/16 * 100 = 25/4 = 6.25%
