false.
guttation occurs when there is high root pressure and low temp
so it occurs in early morning and also during night because at that time temperature is low

Answer:

• The statement is false. Because guttation takes place during night time.

Explanation:

• Guttation is a process in which small droplets of water surrounds the lamilla of the vascular plants.

• During night time the process of transpiration is absent therefore large amounts of water is not drawn to the plants by the transpirational pull.

• But during the night time, roots continue to absorb water if there is excess of water around the plant or high humidity.

• This water absorbed by the roots creates a pressure on the vascular cells, this pressure is called as hydrostatic pressure.

• To release this pressure some amount of water is released by the plant around the leaves called as guttation.
