1. They are mostly aquatic and have no or ill defined tissue differentiation

2. The stomata or pores are not present

3.Asexual reproduction takes place.

Bryophytes:

1. Most are terrestrial and prefer damp and sheddy places and have well defined tissue differentiation.

2. The stomata and pores are present

Answer. Thallophyta : 1. Plant body is thallus .it is not differentiated into root , stem and leaves. 2.there is no vascullar system . 3. Sex organs are unicellular. 4. No embryo fotmation takes place after fertilization. 5. Example - algae .... Bryophyta : 1. Plant body does not have true roots , stems and leaves but shows root like and shoot like structures ... 2. True vascullar system is absent . 3. Sex organs are multicellulae. 4. Embryo is formed after fertilization . 5. Example - mosses.
