Answer:

Hey Buddy, Let's Do This:-

a). When an object falls freely to ground, its acceleration is uniform because the gravitational force applied by earth on any object on it is always constant(Acceleration Due to gravity = 9.8 m s^-2).

And since the mass of object is constant then, it will undergo constant acceleration towards the ground.

b). The Action and Reaction forces doesn't get cancel because they occur on interaction with object simultaneously, they do not occur pair-wise.

c). Tennis Ball is relatively made of less weight as compared to a cricket ball, hence when they are thrown/projected, Tennis ball applies a lower resistance/reaction force against the person who attempt to stop it, whereas heavy weight of cricket ball results to more reaction force against the person attempting to stop it, making cricket ball harder to stop.

d). The object at rest is considered to be uniform because, in uniform motion, an object travel equal distances at equal interval of time, now since the object has being travelling zero distance all time, it's motion is considered to be uniform.

Hope that helps...

1.) When an object falls freely to the ground, is its acceleration uniform? An object that falls freely to the ground has acceleration that is uniform (constant) as long as air resistance can be ignored and the object stays near enough to the earth's surface so that the gravitational field is constant.

2.) Even though the magnitudes of action force and reaction force are equal and their directions are opposite, their effects do not get cancelled. Answer : ... When the point of action of the two equal and opposite forces is the same, then these do cancel out.
