not necessarily the boards will ask the derivations but yes... I think if you revise through the NCERT book and RDS as well as the derivations then you will definitely crack it... also remember that even if you don't study the derivations of section formula and other stuff right now then ... you will have to study all the derivations again in class 11 .. so I think you better understand and go through the derivations... cause you never know ..the boards might ask...
