guys! as we know water convert to ice at 0°c and ice converts into liquid at 0°c then if we add impurites in it then its freezing point and melting point decreases, so... in this situation will the melting point and freezong point go in minus or plus? determine ur answer properly.

see it depends...it cud increase or decrease and so the value cud b positive or negative

Aryan11578: can u determine it by an example... for example if i add 1/3 amount of salt in it

see here it all depends about what impurities you are adding for eg if you add glycol. the freezing temperature of the water can go in negative and that is one of the things used as a coolant in car engines. hope this helps
