So,

SO = QO

or, 18 = y - 5

or, 18 + 5 = y

or, 23 = y

and,

PO = RO

or, 25 = x + y

or, 25 = x + 23 (as y = 23)

or, 25 - 23 = x

or, 2 = x

The value of x and y is 2 cm and 23 cm respectively.
