☢ MUST TO KNOW (BASIC FACTS) ☢

✔ RESPIRATION : It is the chemical process of releasing energy by breaking down (oxidation) of glucose for carrying out life processes.

✔ BREATHING : Breathing is a physical process in which oxygen is inhaled and carbon dioxide is exhaled.

✔ Respiration takes place inside the cells but breathing takes place outside the cells.

✔ Breathing is not associated with any enzymes but respiration is carried out by the action of enzymes.

INHALED AIR vs EXHALED AIR

_____________________________

1] Inhaled air is the inspired air which we take in whereas exhaled air is the expired air which we give out.

2] Inhaled air contains more oxygen (20.96%) but exhaled air contains less oxygen (16.4%) .

3] Inhaled air contains very small amount (0.04%) carbon dioxide but exhaled air contains 4.4% of carbon dioxide.

4] Inhaled air contains less content of water vapour but exhaled air contains more water vapour.

5] Inhaled air is not warmer like exhaled air. Exhaled air is warmer or as same as the temperature of the body.

6] Inhaled air usually contains dust particles as compared to exhaled air. Exhaled air sometimes contain very little amount of dust particles but generally, it doesnt contain any dust particles.
