1-Displacement is defined as the change in position of an object. It is a vector quantity and has a direction and magnitude. It is represented as an arrow that points from the starting position to the final position. For example- If an object moves from A position to B, then the object's position changes.

2-Displacement is the shortest distance travelled from the initial point to the final point. After half revolution the displacement is the length of the diameter which is equal to 2r. Hence the displacement is 2r.

3-This is because speed is a scalar quantity whereas velocity is a vector quantity. Speed has no direction, only magnitude whereas velocity has both magnitude as well as direction. That's why there can be a difference in their values.
