Step-by-step explanation:

OE is perpendicular on the chord AB .

(by theorem - perpendicular line from the centre bisects the chord)

AE = EB

In triangle ACE and triangle CEB ,

AE = EB

CE = EC (common)

<AEC = <CEB (both 90° each)

By SAS C.R. , triangle ACE is congruent to triangle CEB .

AC = CB (by CPCT)

Hence ,ABC is an isosceles triangle as its two sides are equal..
