=> 2y = 3 - x/5
=> y = 3/2 - x/10
On putting x = - 5,
y = 3/2 - (-5/10)
y = 3/2 + 1/2
y = 4/2
y = 2
So, (-5, 2) is solution of given equation.

=> y = 3/2 - x/10
