guys, i cant just get this... in heridity and evolution lesson, suppose we are to explain monohybris method. there, we take one trait into consideration, say, tall-short. in mu book, its written, we express tall as TT, and short as tt. why do we repeat the letters here ? why not talk os written as T, and short is written as t ...??

The reason is....
We are diploid organism so we get one code of the trait from our one parent and the other code from other parent....

Eg.:- If you are "Tt" it means hybrid tall so you got 'T' from your father and 't' from your mother....
