guys I have some confusion. does evaporation starts at 100°C or when some heat is applied to it after it reaches 100°C. I know there would be no rise on the liquid temperature at this process. I mean to say, suppose if the liquid is at 99°C and after that it reaches 100°C. Will boiling start at that point when some more heat is applied?

evaporation is a very slow and silent process which takes place at any temperature below 100°c

it starts on 100 degree Celsius have u ever noticed when we put some water on stove for Boling it's start boil but not vaporize when heat is applied but after some time it starts to boil that moment when water is started Boling it's boiling point and different substances have there different boiling point a substance only starts vaporize when the temperature or heat comes to it boiling point
hope this helps ☺☺
