it simply means that December is the month when winter starts in India and remain till February. coldest month is January. the falling of temperature starts from South India (kerela, Tamil Nadine etc) and then north India will be last means starting from South to North (decrease in temperature. peninsula plateau remain little warm during winter time also while northern part remain cold and temperature may reach 0 Celsius or below. please follow me
