The equivalent resistance is 6 ohms.

The current is given as 1 A, so the total drop across each parallel branch will be 6 V.

Now the drop in (5 ohms + 15 ohms) is 6 V.

These are in series - same current - so, drop across 5 ohms would be (5 / 5 + 15) * 6 V = 6 / 4 V = 1.5 V.

Requ = 5 + 15 = 20 ohm

and all resistance are parllel

so,

1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3

= 1/10 + 1/20 + 1/60

= 10/60 = 1/6

Rp = 6ohm

according to ohm,s law

V = IR

V = 1*6 = 6v

for resistance 5 ohm,

according to ohm's law

V = IR

= 1* 5 = 5v
