HOLI- FESTIVAL OF COLOUR
This is one of the major festivals of Hindus. Holi is the festival of colors. The festival is celebrated for two to three days.Holi is celebrated in the spring season. Hindus believe that spring is full of colors so they throw colored water on each other. This picture shows that the children are enjoying the colours and making the festival of holi much more special.
People are seen with different varieties of colors on Holi. They put colors on each other, sing, dance. They worship Lord Krishna and put colors on his idol.
They are using water ballons, water guns and varity of colours to enjoy. There clothes are all wet but there is no one to stop them as elders too enjoy the festival. this makes this festival more special and a happy festival .
