Hi there !!
Here's your answer

Let the total number of guests be x

We know,

Those who drink colas
 = \frac{1}{4} x = \frac{x}{4}

Those who drink squash

 = \frac{1}{3} x = \frac{x}{3}

Those who drink fruit juice

 = \frac{2}{5} x = \frac{2x}{5}

Those who didn't drink anything = 3

So,
the following balanced equation will be formed

 \frac{x}{4} + \frac{x}{3} + \frac{2x}{5} + 3 = x

Transposing x to LHS and 3 to RHS,
we have,

 \frac{x}{4} + \frac{x}{3} + \frac{2x}{5} - x = - 3

Taking 60 as LCM ,
we have,

 \frac{15x + 20x + 24x - 60x}{60} = - 3

 \frac{ - x}{60} = - 3

-x = -3 × 60

-x = -180

x = 180

Therefore,
there were total 180 guests
