(i) Triangle ABD is equal to triangle BAC Because they have one equal side and two equal angles

so both triangles are equal according to ASA congruence criterion

(ii) As we know that both the triangles are equal so the sides are also equal.

Here the sides which are congruent are BD to AC

5. (i) As we know that DM = CM so we got one equal angle and two equal sides. So it is congruent according to SAS congruence criterion.

(ii)As we know that both the triangles are equal so the angles are also equal. Here Angle DBC is a right angle.

(iii) The triangles are congruent or equal as we know that they have one equal hyp. and one equal side and right angle.

so both triangles are equal according to RHS congruence criterion
