Lets take the parallel resistance as R1 AND R2
Rp= (R1×R2/ R1 + R2)
= (2×2) / ( 2+2)
=4/4
= 1 ohm
The rest are connected in series
There Rs= 2+ 2+ 1
= 5 ohm
The ans is 5 ohm
Equivalent resistance between A and B is 5 ohm
Hope it's clear
