Answer:

a) At t=0, speed is maximum. The speed decreases at a constant rate, becomes zero at maximum height. The ball then falls with a uniform acceleration till its speed becomes equal to speed of projection.

b) Body is decelerating means it has retardation - negative acceleration. And the deceleration is at constant speed and again it increases. Please refer the attachment for the graph which shows object decelerating uniformly and accelerating uniformly

Answer:

The speed of the ball goes on decreasing uniformly as it moves upwards, reaches zero at the highest, and then increases uniformly as it moves downward

Body is decelerating means it has retardation - negative acceleration. And the deceleration is at constant speed and again it increases. Please refer the attachment for the graph which shows object decelerating uniformly and accelerating uniformly.Jul 4
