yeah actually as the insect moves towards the centre its r decreases so moment of inertia decreases too .and so angular velocity increases
i do get it that why it increases but what confuses me is that why does it decrease later

because when insect moves the angular velocity increa
and when he stop moving the disc start moving at it normal speed
