ii)2/-7+5/14-x=16/21

$x + \frac{5}{9} - ( \frac{ - 7}{12} ) = \frac{13}{36} \\ \\ x + \frac{5}{9} + \frac{7}{12} = \frac{13}{36 } \\ \\ x + \frac{5 \times 4}{9 \times 4} + \frac{7 \times 3}{12 \times3 } = \frac{13}{36} \\ \\ x + \frac{20}{36} + \frac{21}{36} = \frac{13}{36} \\ \\ x + \frac{41}{36} = \frac{13}{36} \\ \\ x = \frac{13}{36} - \frac{41}{36} \\ \\ x = \frac{13 - 41}{36} \\ \\ x = \frac{ - 28}{36} \\ \\ x = \frac{ - 7}{9}$
(ii)
