sp=85y/100........ (ii)
From eq i and eq ii
119x/100=85y/100
or 119x=85y
or 7x=5y
or y=7x/5
M.p. above cp=7x/5-x
=2x/5
Percentage of mp marked above cp=(2x/5×100)/x=40%
