8. i) Distance travelled by Q in 4 seconds = 3 × 4

=12 m

Distance travelled by P in 4 seconds = 6 × 4

=24 m

To find the difference,

=24-12

=12

Therefore, there is 12 m difference in the distance between P and Q.

ii) No, they will not move with the same speed because both of the cars P and Q move at a constant speed of 6 m/s-² and 3 m/s-² respectively.

iii) Both are undergoing uniform motion.
