Kkashyap: Area =1/2 a 2√29=20=>a=20/√29
Kkashyap: Hope it helps
preet710: no
Kkashyap: Why?
preet710: there is another altitude from the vertex TO hypotenuse
preet710: n we have to find the length of that hypotenuse
preet710: altitude **
preet710: nt hypotenuse

Hey it will clear all ur doubts.

Area =20 (given);base =4.
Height=?

=>Area =20 =1/2× base × height

=>40/4=height=10.

Hypotenuse=√[(10)^2+(4)^2=√116=√29×4=2√29

Area = 20 = 1/2 × altitude×2√29

=>Altitude=20/√29.
Hope it helps
